Shipments of Apple's ( AAPL ) iPhone in China fell roughly 33% in February from a year earlier, Bloomberg reported, citing data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

The data showed that foreign companies shipped roughly 2.4 million phones in February, the report said, adding that Apple ( AAPL ) represents the vast majority of the figure.

In January, Apple ( AAPL ) shipments declined about 39% year over year to about 5.5 million units, Bloomberg reported, citing the Chinese agency's data.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
