Mar 21, 2025 4:25 AM

06:50 AM EDT, 03/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with BT's response in the third paragraph.)

AT&T ( T ) is among the major telecommunications companies that have been approached by the UK's BT Group about possible partnerships involving its international business, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The British firm is looking for potential partners to weigh tie-ups that may involve selling an interest in its global segment, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

In a statement to MT Newswires, BT said that while it does not comment on rumor and speculation, "we're keeping everything open and this means we've been speaking to third parties about a range of possibilities."

AT&T ( T ) didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
