Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria ( BBVA ) plans to upgrade its representative office in Abu Dhabi to a branch for its corporate and investment banking division, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the plans.

BBVA declined to comment when reached by MT Newswires.
