Boeing ( BA ) is weighing the potential sale of at least two of its defense businesses, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources.
Financial advisers have reached out to potential suitors on the aircraft maker's behalf to assess interest in several smaller units, the news outlet reported, citing people familiar with the talks. The efforts have been in progress for almost a year, one of the sources reportedly told Bloomberg.
The company's Digital Receiver Technology unit is among the assets potentially under consideration, according to the report.
Boeing ( BA ), which earlier considered selling its Argon ST unit, has put that process on hold, Bloomberg reported, citing one of the people.
The company also continues to evaluate options for its stake in the United Launch Alliance joint venture with Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) , according to the report.
Boeing ( BA ) declined to comment, Bloomberg reported.
The company didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
