Uber's ( UBER ) rival Bolt Technology has engaged PJT Partners ( PJT ) to explore options, including a potential initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
The Estonian mobility company could pursue a listing as soon as 2026 and is still evaluating whether to list in the US or Europe, while also considering other ways to raise capital, the report added.
Discussions are at an early stage, and plans may change, Bloomberg cited the sources as saying.
"Any date for listing will depend on market conditions and this remains a significant factor in determining when Bolt goes public," a Bolt's spokesperson told MT Newswires in an email. "For now our relevant internal teams are working to ensure the business is ready to go public, should we decide to do so and the market conditions are favorable."
"Regarding listing location, we continue to evaluate a number of potential listing venues, however no decision has been made," the spokesperson said.
PJT Partners ( PJT ) declined MT Newswires' request for comment.
