Federal Aviation Administration head Mike Whitaker will testify on Sept. 24 before the House of Representatives Transportation Committee regarding Boeing's ( BA ) plan to improve its safety culture, Reuters reported Monday, citing the committee.

The hearing comes as the FAA is still assessing Boeing's ( BA ) reform plans to address "systemic quality-control issues," which was submitted in late May.

Boeing ( BA ) declined to comment to MT Newswires. The Congress committee and the FAA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
