Activist investor HoldCo Asset Management said Monday at a conference that it won't pursue proxy fights against KeyCorp ( KEY ) and Eastern Bankshares ( EBC ) despite previously threatening to do so, Bloomberg reported.

HoldCo also said it now supports KeyCorp ( KEY ) Chief Executive Christopher Gorman after previously calling for his firing, the report said.

KeyCorp ( KEY ) declined to comment to MT Newswires, while Eastern Bankshares ( EBC ) didn't immediately reply to a request for comment.
