Houlihan Lokey ( HLI ) is working with private equity company Waterland on a possible purchase of artificial intelligence consulting firm Xebia for 1 billion euros ($1.2 billion), Bloomberg said Friday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.

Deliberations are ongoing and Waterland could decide to keep the asset for longer, the people said, according to the report.
