JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) plans to increase hiring across its corporate banking business in Asia Pacific region by about 20% next year, Reuters reported Thursday, citing company executives.

The bank has already raised staffing by 20% in the division as of July, Reuters quoted Oliver Brinkmann, co-head of global corporate banking, as saying.

Demand from corporates to go global, rising intra-Asia trade and digital innovation are driving growth, Reuters reported.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) confirmed Thursday its plans to increase hiring in an e-mail response to MT Newswires.
