Ledger appointed bankers for an initial public offering in the US that may value the French cryptocurrency company at more than $4 billion, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company is working with Goldman Sachs ( GS ) , Jefferies Financial Group ( JEF ) and Barclays ( BCS ) on the offering, which may occur as early as this year, the report said.
Ledger declined to comment. Goldman Sachs ( GS ), Jefferies and Barclays ( BCS ) didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
