Microsoft ( MSFT ) has committed more than $33 billion to neocloud companies such as Nebius ( NBIS ) , CoreWeave ( CRWV ) , Nscale, and Lamabada, to address the artificial intelligence data center capacity shortage, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the situation.

The deal with Nebius ( NBIS ) will also provide Microsoft ( MSFT ) access to more than 100,000 Nvidia ( NVDA ) GB300 chips, the report quoted sources as saying. Shares of Nebius ( NBIS ) closed 8.9% higher on Thursday and were up about 2% in premarket activity on Friday. CoreWeave ( CRWV ) was also about 1% higher pre-bell.
