Nvidia ( NVDA ) will have new US production facilities, constructed by Wistron, ready by 2026 to build its artificial intelligence servers, Reuters reported Friday, citing Wistron Chief Executive Jeff Lin.

The tech giant said in April it was building supercomputer manufacturing sites with Wistron in Dallas.

"I believe it's exactly in line with what the customer announced. All our progress will follow the customer's lead," Reuters quoted Lin as saying.

Wistron is also in talks with other clients to use the US facilities, which will manufacture computing and AI-related products, the news outlet said, citing Lin.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) declined to comment when contacted by MT Newswires, while Wistron didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Nvidia's ( NVDA ) stock was up 1.1 % in recent Friday premarket activity.
