Paramount Global ( PARAA ) is considering to replace Chief Executive Bob Bakish with a committee of executives to run the company on an interim basis, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the situation.

Bakish could be replaced by an "Office of the CEO" made up of Paramount's division heads, the report said.

Paramount, which is exploring a sale with Skydance Media, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
