S&P Global ( SPGI ) is considering options for its mobility business, including a complete sale of the unit, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing three people with knowledge of the matter.

The unit could be valued at over $12 billion, two of the people said, Reuters reported.

In recent months, private equity firms have expressed interest in the unit, but no decision had been made, sources said, according to Reuters.

A spokesperson for S&P Global ( SPGI ) declined to comment to Reuters.

S&P Global ( SPGI ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
