UBS AG (UBS) has hired Barclays' (BCS) Alejandro Palacio as Managing Director for technology dealmaking, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Palacio will reportedly join UBS in the coming months, focusing on software and integrated payments companies, while reporting to global co-head of Technology Investment Banking Laurence Braham.
