Woodside Energy Group ( WDS ) and Saudi Aramco are discussing Investments in Tellurian's (TELL) liquefied natural gas export plant in Louisiana, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Tellurian has reviewed several equity investment offers from the energy companies related to its proposed Driftwood plant, the report said.
A deal may involve MidOcean Energy, a subsidiary of investment firm EIG Global Energy Partners, in which Aramco holds a stake, according to the report.
Tellurian, Aramco, Woodside and MidOcean declined to comment, Bloomberg said.
Tellurian, Aramco and Woodside didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
Shares of Tellurian rose 17% in recent trading Tuesday, and Woodside fell 1.4%.
