Update: Masimo Shares Rise as Q2 Earnings Beat Estimates

Masimo ( MASI ) shares were up more than 11%, a day after reporting Q2 non-GAAP diluted earnings of $0.86 per share, up from $0.76 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.77.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 was $496.3 million, up from $455.3 million a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $494.8 million.

The company said it expects Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $0.81 to $0.86 per share on revenue of $495 million to $515 million.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.86 on revenue of $509.5 million.

The company now expects full-year non-GAAP earnings of $3.80 to $4 per share on revenue of $2.09 billion to $2.14 billion.

Its prior guidance was $3.54 to $3.70 per share on revenue of $2.06 billion to $2.17 billion.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.62 on revenue of $2.10 billion.
