Microsoft ( MSFT ) said Monday it aims to spend 4 billion euros ($4.31 billion) in France to build cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure, which includes bringing up to 25,000 advanced graphic processing unit to France by the end of 2025.
"We are building state-of-the-art Cloud and AI infrastructure, training people with AI skills, and supporting French startups as they use our technology with confidence to grow in a fair and responsible way," Microsoft ( MSFT ) President Brad Smith said at French President Emmanuel Macron's annual "Choose France" summit.
The company said it plans to train 1 million people and help 2,500 startups by 2027 in France.
