Microsoft ( MSFT ) and the Communications Workers of America have agreed to a tentative contract agreement for more than 300 quality assurance workers at the company's ZeniMax gaming unit, the union said Friday.

The agreement, which comes after almost two years of talks, includes "substantial across-the-board" wage increases, new minimum salaries for workers, protections against arbitrary dismissal and grievance procedures, the union said.

The union said a ratification vote is set to be concluded by June 20.

"The tentative agreement... reflects a shared commitment to constructive dialogue and a common goal of fostering a positive workplace," a Microsoft ( MSFT ) spokesperson said in a statement emailed to MT Newswires. "We look forward to the outcome of the ratification process."
