Update: Modine Manufacturing Shares Jump on Higher Fiscal Q1 Results

Modine Manufacturing's ( MOD ) shares were up 19.5% in recent Wednesday trading, a day after the company reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share, up from $0.85 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.87.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 increased to $661.5 million from $622.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $633.6 million.

The company said it now expects fiscal year 2025 adjusted EPS of $3.65 to $3.95, versus its prior guidance of $3.55 to $3.85. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.71. The company expects net sales for the year to grow 6% to 11%, compared with its previous growth guidance of 5% to 10%. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect revenue of $2.58 billion.
