Update: Molina Shares Rise After Q3 Tops Estimates

Molina Healthcare ( MOH ) shares surged nearly 23% in recent Thursday trading, a day after the company posted a Q3 earnings beat.

The company reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $6.01 per diluted share, up from $5.05 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $5.94.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $10.34 billion, up from $8.55 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $9.92 billion.

The company still expects 2024 adjusted EPS to be at least $23.50. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $23.52.
