Update: Monolithic Power Systems Q4 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Stock Buyback Set; Shares Jump After Hours

Monolithic Power Systems ( MPWR ) reported Q4 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $4.09 per diluted share, up from $2.88 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.98.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $621.7 million, up from $454 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $608.1 million.

The company said it expects Q1 revenue of $610 million to $630 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $580.7 million.

The company increased its quarterly dividend to $1.56 a share from $1.25, payable April 15 to stockholders of record on March 31.

The company announced a new $500 million stock repurchase program, effective over the next three years.

Monolithic Power ( MPWR ) shares rose 12% in recent after-hours activity.
