Update: Nevada King Gold Jumps 9% as It Reports Gold Intercepts at North Extension Target at Its Atlanta Project
Dec 9, 2024 9:09 AM

11:47 AM EST, 12/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates shares.)

Nevada King Gold ( NKGFF ) on Monday reported the latest drill results from the North Extension Target (NET) within the Atlanta gold project in Nevada.

Results from the phase two drill program include 1.95 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 29.0 meters, including 6.6 g/t gold over 6.1 meters.

"Gold mineralization is remarkably uniform in grade and thickness all across the NET, with higher grades occurring along and adjacent to high angle feeder structures," said Cal Herron, Nevada King's exploration manager.

"Based on gold, silver, and tracer element distributions, the NET is clearly a northward extension of the Atlanta resource zone; however, unlike the resource zone where mineralization and associated intrusive activity were concentrated in down-dropped grabens, the NET mineralization spread along a relatively intact unconformity surface," Herron added.

Mineralization remains open along strike and laterally of the NET, the company said.

Nevada King shares were last seen up $0.025 to $0.30 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
