11:26 AM EST, 03/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nickel Creek Platinum Corp. ( NCPCF ) said Friday that it has raised $600,000 after closing a private placement of 41,666,667 shares at $0.015 apiece.

The company's largest shareholder, Electrum Strategic Opportunities Fund L.P., acquired all of the shares in the offering.

Nickel Creek said it will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The company is advancing its flagship Nickel Shaw project in Alaska.

Nickel Creek at last look soared 33.3% in early Friday trading.
