Northrop Grumman ( NOC ) shares were down 1.7% in recent Tuesday trading after the company reported higher Q3 earnings and revenue and cut its 2025 sales forecast.
The company reported Q3 earnings of $7.67 per diluted share, up from $7.00 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $6.44.
Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $10.42 billion, compared with $10 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $10.72 billion.
The defense contractor said it now expects 2025 MTM-adjusted EPS of $25.65 to $26.05, compared with a prior outlook of $25 to $25.40. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $25.41.
Northrop Grumman ( NOC ) expects 2025 sales of $41.70 billion to $41.90 billion, compared with the prior outlook of $42.05 billion to $42.25 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $42.19 billion.
