Oracle's (ORCL) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) cloud computing units have reached an agreement to offer Google's ( GOOG ) Gemini AI models through Oracle's cloud services and business applications, the two companies said Thursday.
The agreement will let customers access Google's ( GOOG ) generative AI models while using Oracle's cloud and various business applications, according to a statement.
Through new integrations with Vertex AI, Oracle plans to make Google's ( GOOG ) entire range of Gemini models available to customers who use its OCI Generative AI service and will be embedding them within its fusion cloud applications in the future, the companies said.
Oracle customers will be able to pay for the AI technologies using Oracle cloud credits, the statement said. Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
