11:34 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Orla Mining ( ORLA ) on Wednesday reported higher second-quarter gold production and sales from its Camino Rojo oxide mine in Mexico.

In the second quarter, Camino Rojo produced 33,206 ounces of gold, up 14% from 29,058 ounces in the year-prior period.

Gold sales rose 17% to 34,875 ounces, up from 29,773 ounces.

At June 30, Orla had cash of US$154.3 million and total debt of US$78.4 million, resulting in a net cash position of US$75.9 million.

Orla's shares were last seen up $0.13 to $5.34 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
