12:03 PM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Outcrop Silver & Gold ( OCGSF ) reported Wednesday additional drilling results from the Jimenez vein target within its Santa Ana silver project in Colombia.
The company said drilling at Jimenez returned some of the widest intercepts in the current campaign and unveiled the potential for additional parallel veins carrying high-grade.
Highlights include 0.32 meters testing at 1,288 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent and 0.30 meters at 789 g/t silver equivalent.
"Overall, these results confirm high-grade silver and gold mineralization at Jimenez, with several veins showing significant exploration potential based on their width," said Guillermo Hernandez, Outcrop's vice president of exploration. "The intercepts highlight both narrow high-grade zones and broader zones of mineralization, contributing to the resource expansion potential in this vein system."
The company's shares were last seen down $0.03 to $0.30 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
