11:59 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Patriot Battery Metals ( PMETF ) on Sunday appointed Frederic Mercier-Langevin as chief development officer and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Mercier-Langevin will be responsible for developing the Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium project in northern Quebec, the company said. Patriot is working toward the completion of a feasibility study and an environmental and social impact assessment for the project.

Mercier-Langevin has over 20 years of experience in open pit and underground mining and has held senior and executive roles at Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM.TO) and, most recently, Wesdome Gold Mines (WDO.TO).

Patriot shares were last seen down $0.09 to $1.94 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
