Update: Penguin Solutions Fiscal Q4 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Fall After Hours

05:01 PM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with fiscal year 2026 net sales outlook and repurchase authorization in the fourth and fifth paragraphs, respectively.)

Penguin Solutions ( PENG ) reported fiscal Q4 non-GAAP net income late Tuesday of $0.43 per diluted share, up from $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.37.

Revenue in the three months ended August 29 rose to $337.9 million from $324.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $340.7 million.

The company expects fiscal 2026 non-GAAP EPS of $2, plus or minus $0.25. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.12.

Penguin also expects fiscal year net sales growth of 6%, plus or minus 10%.

The company also authorized a share buyback program of $75 million of the common stock.

The company's shares fell 12% in after-hours trading.
