Update: Revvity Says Court Issued Preliminary Injunction Against Cloud Software Group
Apr 3, 2024 6:19 AM

09:02 AM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates to add Cloud Software Group's comment in the last paragraph.)

Revvity ( RVTY ) said Tuesday that the Massachusetts Superior Court has issued a preliminary injunction compelling Cloud Software Group to comply with its obligations under its strategic partner agreements, including an order "to cease all marketing, selling and support activities in Revvity's ( RVTY ) exclusive markets."

The company said the court also directed Cloud Software to continue delivering maintenance services to Revvity ( RVTY ) in relation to its Spotfire software.

The decision follows Revvity's ( RVTY ) lawsuit against Cloud Software for alleged unfair practices and contract breaches, Revvity ( RVTY ) said. In the suit, Revvity ( RVTY ), a medical equipment maker, alleged that Cloud Software was "interfering" with its customer relationships by "directly contacting Revvity's ( RVTY ) customers."

Cloud Software said the company disagrees with the ruling and will appeal. "The fact is that Revvity ( RVTY ) is in breach of its contract obligations, the contract has been terminated, and the case is ongoing," the company said in response to an MT Newswires request for comment.
