Roblox ( RBLX ) confirmed on Tuesday that it has named former Microsoft (MSFT) executive Jerret West as the company's chief marketing officer and head of market expansion, effective July 1.

West, formerly Microsoft's ( MSFT ) chief marketing officer of Xbox, succeeds Desiree Fish, who has been leading communications and marketing in recent months while the CMO search was in progress, the company said. Fish will become chief communications officer, according to Roblox ( RBLX ).

Microsoft didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
