Saia ( SAIA ) shares were down more than 18% in recent Friday trading after its Q2 results missed market expectations.

Earlier, Saia ( SAIA ) reported Q2 earnings of $3.83 per diluted share, compared with $3.42 a year earlier.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $823.2 million, compared with $694.6 million a year earlier.
