Update: Samsara Shares Rise After Fiscal Q2 Beat

Samsara's (IOT) shares were up more than 15% in recent Friday trading, a day after the company reported better-than-expected fiscal Q2 results.

The company reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $0.05 per diluted share, up from $0.01 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.01.

Revenue for the quarter that ended Aug. 3 was $300.2 million, up from $219.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $289.5 million.

The company expects fiscal Q3 and full-year non-GAAP earnings of $0.03 to $0.04 per diluted share and $0.16 to $0.18 per diluted share, respectively. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.03 and $0.13, respectively.

The company expects fiscal Q3 and fiscal 2025 revenue to be in the range of $309 million to $311 million and $1.224 billion to $1.228 billion, respectively. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $308.8 million and $1.21 billion, respectively.
