12:03 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Signal Gold ( SGNLF ) reported Wednesday final assay results from its 5,179-meter diamond-drilling program at the western extension of its Goldboro project in Nova Scotia.
Results included 7.56 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 1.9 meters and 3.80 g/t gold over 3.0 meters.
"We are excited with these final results, in addition to those reported earlier, which have successfully demonstrated the continuity of gold mineralization to the west of the existing mineral resource estimate with zones of high-grade gold intersected in all drill holes across a strike length of 450 meters," said Kevin Bullock, Signal Gold's ( SGNLF ) chief executive.
"The results from the western extension, coupled with the ongoing regional exploration work on Signal Gold's ( SGNLF ) extensive land package, provide significant growth opportunities for the Goldboro project," Bullock added.
Signal Gold ( SGNLF ) shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.09 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
