11:40 AM EDT, 04/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) said Tuesday it produced 1.3 million silver-equivalent ounces from its mines in China in its fiscal fourth quarter, which ended on March 31, 11% more than in the same period of the previous year.
Gold production jumped 92% year-on-year to 1,916 ounces in the quarter in which Silvercorp also produced 12.5 million pounds of lead, an increase of 15%. Zinc output was up 27% to 4.56 million pounds.
For fiscal 2025, Silvercorp expects to produce 6.8 million to 7.2 million ounces of silver, 64.2 million to 69.3 million pounds of lead, and 27.1 million to 30.1 million pounds of zinc.
Silvercorp expects to release its audited full-year fiscal 2024 financial results on May 23.
The company's shares were last seen up C$0.165 to C$4.855 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
