Update: SIR Royalty Income Fund Gains 1.4% as Its Operating Entity Posts Lower Fiscal Q3 Adjusted Earnings

11:48 AM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SIR Royalty Income Fund's (SRV-UN.TO) operating entity, SIR Corp., on Thursday reported lower fiscal third-quarter adjusted net earnings due to higher cost of corporate restaurant operations.

SIR Corp. booked fiscal third-quarter adjusted earnings, excluding most one-time items, of $0.7 million, down from $4.7 million.

Fiscal third-quarter net income came in at $33 million, compared with a year-prior loss of $2 million.

Food and beverage revenue from corporate restaurant operations was $62.0 million, a slight decrease from $62.1 million.

SIR Royalty Income Fund's units were last seen up $0.18 to $12.93 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
