Update: Solstice Gold Begins Gold in Till Sampling Program at Atikokan Project in Ontario
Jun 12, 2024 9:09 AM

11:28 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Solstice Gold ( SGCPF ) on Wednesday said it started a focused gold in till sampling program at the Atikokan gold project in Ontario.

Analysis of lake sediment data by Solstice within the Marmion Batholith and locally in the Lost Moose Lake area, identified two large and several smaller gold in lake-sediment anomalies on areas where Solstice has exploration rights.

Solstice's spring 2024 till sampling program is designed to test the area of this lake-sediment anomaly using the same methodology as the 2012 till sampling program at Hammond Reef. If there is a gold in till anomaly spatially associated with the lake sediment anomaly on the Atikokan Property, Solstice believes that it would be a positive indication for the presence of in-situ gold on its claims.

Solstice cautioned that there is no known mineral deposit on the areas where it is exploring and there is no assurance that the data or exploration programs will define significant gold mineralization on its claims.

Solstice shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.035 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
