Update: Sotera Health Shares Rise After Q2 Beat

Sotera Health ( SHC ) shares were up more than 19% in recent Friday trading after the company reported Q2 earnings and revenue above analyst estimates.

Earlier, the firm posted Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.20 per diluted share, compared with $0.19 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.17.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $294.3 million, up from $276.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $275.9 million.

Sotera raised its full-year 2025 adjusted EPS range to $0.75 to $0.82 from $0.70 to $0.76 previously. Analysts expected $0.75.

For 2025, the company now expects net revenue to grow in the range of 4.5% to 6%, compared with prior estimate of 4% to 6%. Analysts expected $1.14 billion.
