Update: Source Energy Services Down 3.6% as It Swings to Q4 Loss, Falls Short of Analyst Estimates

Source Energy Services ( SCEYF ) late on Wednesday reported that it swung to a loss in the fourth quarter, missing analyst estimates.

The company said it lost $7.2 million, or $0.53 per share, compared with a profit of $153 million, or $10.71. The FactSet consensus EPS estimate for the quarter was $0.28.

Sales fell to $145 million from $154.4 million. Sand revenue also dipped to $117.7 million from $124.3 million. Sand volumes came in at 767,712 metric tonnes, declining from 819,113 metric tonnes.

The company's shares were last seen down $0.45 to $11.95 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
