02:00 PM EST, 03/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SSR Mining Inc. ( SSRGF ) on Friday reported the reorganization of key roles and responsibilities within its executive leadership team.

The company said Alison White has stepped down as chief financial officer of the company to pursue other opportunities.

SSR has tapped Michael Sparks, currently serving as executive vice president, and chief legal and administrative officer, to serve as executive vice president and CFO.

F. Edward Farid, currently executive vice president, and chief corporate development officer, will now serve as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.

Joanne Thomopoulos, currently vice president of human resources, has assumed the role of executive vice president of human resources.

Bill MacNevin and John Ebbett will continue to serve as executive vice president of operations and sustainability, and executive vice president of growth and innovation, respectively.

SSR Mining ( SSRGF ), which was up 1.9% in Canada yesterday, fell 2.8% on last look on Friday. SSR Mining ( SSRGF ) was down 3% in US trading on Friday.
