11:49 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Uranium (STND.V) on Tuesday released results from the inaugural winter 2024 drill program at its Atlantic project in Saskatchewan, confirming uranium mineralization in multiple drill holes.
Highlights include 448 parts per million (ppm) partial digestion uranium over 0.5 meters and 109 ppm partial digestion uranium over 0.5 meters.
"Confirming uranium mineralization and dravite alteration in multiple holes from our inaugural drill program at Atlantic is a fantastic first result," said Sean Hillacre, Standard Uranium's vice president of exploration.
The project is under option to Atco Mining ( ATMGF ) , which can earn a 75% stake in the project over three years. Atco funded the drill program, helping satisfy the first year of minimum exploration expenditures under the agreement.
