Update: STMicroelectronics Shares Down After Q4 Earnings, Revenue Fall

STMicroelectronics ( STM ) shares were down 9.9% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported lower Q4 results.

The company earlier reported Q4 earnings of $0.37 per diluted share, down from $1.14 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.35.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $3.32 billion, down from $4.28 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $3.3 billion.

For Q1, the company expects net revenue of $2.51 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.71 billion.
