Update: Super Micro Computer Sees Higher Q2 Results; Fiscal 2025 Revenue Guidance Cut

Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) late Tuesday reported preliminary fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings of $0.58 to $0.60 per diluted share, an increase of 5% from a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.61.

Preliminary net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $5.6 billion to $5.7 billion, a jump of 54% from a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $5.77 billion.

For fiscal Q3, the company is projecting non-GAAP EPS of $0.46 to $0.62 on revenue of $5 billion to $6 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet are looking for $0.65 and $5.92 billion, respectively.

For fiscal year 2025, the company said it now expects revenue of $23.5 billion to $25 billion, versus its prior outlook of $26 billion to $30 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet are looking for $24.11 billion.

The company said it plans to file its annual report on Form 10-K and quarterly report on Form 10-Q by Feb. 25.

Shares of the company rose nearly 7% in recent premarket activity.
