Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) shares rose 2.9% in recent Wednesday trading after the company reported June revenue rose from a year earlier.

The company booked 207.87 billion New Taiwanese dollars ($6.37 billion) in June revenue, up from NT$156.40 billion a year earlier.

The June figure fell from NT$229.62 billion recorded in May.

Revenue in the first six months of 2024 totaled NT$1.266 trillion, up from NT$989.47 billion a year earlier.
