11:59 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Talisker Resources ( TSKFF ) said Monday it signed an agreement to transport ores from its Mustang mine within the Bralorne gold project in British Columbia.

Talisker said gold ore from Mustang will be trucked to either New Gold's ( NGD ) New Afton or Nicola Mining's ( HUSIF ) Craigmont milling facilities for processing.

The ore-hauling agreement will start with the transport of previously stockpiled material comprising about 6,300 tonnes to be processed at the Craigmont milling facility, Talisker said. The first shipment is expected on Wednesday.

Talisker signed the agreement with Stromsten Enterprises in partnership with Bridge River Management, a wholly owned economic development corporation of the Bridge River Indian Band (Xwisten).

"This ore hauling agreement underscores Talisker's commitment to building positive working relationships with Indigenous communities in the areas in which we work," Talisker chief executive Terry Harbort said.

Talisker were last seen up C$0.02 to C$0.55 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
