T-Mobile US ( TMUS ) has been selected by the US Department of the Navy as a wireless solutions provider as part of the $2.67 billion Spiral 4 contract, the company said Thursday.

Under the new contract, the Department of Defense agencies will be able to place orders for wireless services and equipment from T-Mobile for the next 10 years, T-Mobile said.

The wireless telecom services provider said the Spiral 4 contract, which replaces the third iteration of the contract, covers a range of products and services including voice, data, fixed wireless, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobility management.

T-Mobile is expected to provide connectivity for government operations, supporting communications and network needs for military personnel and federal civilian agencies, it added.
