Update: Trip.com Shares Rise After Higher Q2 Results

Trip.com ( TCOM ) shares advanced nearly 9% in recent Tuesday trading, a day after the company posted higher Q2 results.

The company reported Q2 non-GAAP income late Monday of 7.25 Chinese renminbi ($1) per diluted share, up from 5.11 renminbi a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 5.35 renminbi.

Net revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 12.77 billion renminbi, up from 11.25 billion renminbi a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected 12.78 billion renminbi.
