Verizon Communications ( VZ ) initiated a corporate bond sale Monday in as many as five parts to help fund its acquisition of Frontier Communications Parent ( FYBR ) , Bloomberg reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter.

The telecommunications company is looking to raise $10 billion, according to the report.

Verizon didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
