11:29 AM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vizsla Copper ( VCUFF ) reported Friday the initial results from a recently completed soil geochemical survey at the Thira copper-molybdenum discovery on the Poplar project in British Columbia.
The company said it extended a soil geochemical anomaly over 3 kilometers east of the Thira discovery.
Vizsla said copper, molybdenum and silver soil geochemical anomalies are coincident with geological and airborne geophysical targets.
Vizsla said induced polarization geophysical surveying over the same area is now complete, with processing, modelling and interpretation of the geophysical data pending.
"The expansion potential when combined with the current scale of the mineralization, proximity to surface, and established infrastructure in the area further supports that Thira is quickly becoming a significant discovery," Executive Chairman Craig Parry said.
The company plans to launch a follow-up drill program at Thira in early 2026.
Vizsla's share price at last look Friday rose 10% to C$0.11 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
